Scott Ellis has extensive experiencing working directly with children, young people and families. He has worked in the voluntary community sector for 18 years, supporting some of the most vulnerable and marginalised young people.
As a qualified youth worker, Scott has managed and designed service intervention programmes particularly for children and young people on the periphery of school exclusion. In his previous roles, Scott has been a gang intervention lead, mentor, senior youth worker and engagement lead. Scott is committed to supporting system wide change for Black and minoritised communities by participating in community led initiatives to amplify experience to promote lasting change.
Scott is also the mentoring lead at Mentivity – a mentoring organisation aiming to raise the aspirations of children and young people from minoritised and marginalised communities.
